The earliest noted history of tarot cards dates back to the late 14th century, possibly having originated in Mamluk, Egypt. Their evolution from playing cards to divination tools took centuries. Tarot reading or "cartomancy" is something I have been around all my life. My grandfather gave my mother one of the first books she ever read on witchcraft ("Diary of a Witch" by Sybil Leek) - and from there she sought to learn as much as she could, which she then passed down to my sister and myself.
I have been fortunate enough to have more than one spiritual mentor, and I also have put (and continue to put) a lot of my own effort into expanding my knowledge of tarot and divination. I cannot speak for every reader or every witch - but for my part, I use tarot to help reveal things that must be known about oneself. I do not subscribe to the idea that they can tell the future, I believe they can bring clarity about a number of things both within and surrounding you, things you may not have noticed...or refused to. I also believe that with that clarity, you can make important decisions to better your life.

Reiki literally means "universal life energy" in Japanese - it is a healing technique based on the principle that the therapist can channel energy into the patient by means of touch, to activate the natural healing processes of the patient's body and restore physical and emotional well-being. As a level 2 reiki practitioner, I have received & provided this type of therapy to family and friends.
Sometimes the "I feel better" sensation you get after receiving reiki is profound, other times it is more subtle - but it is always helpful.
Please feel free to ask any questions you may have & should you feel a reiki session would benefit you, do reach out.
